Fortean Times – A crypto’s paradise
filed in Periodicals on Dec.29, 2009
I have to say that Fortean Times is one of the most interesting magazines I’ll buy when I can afford to.
It is a paradise for anyone who is interested in the paranormal, the weird and the unexplained. It has proved to be a great source of inspiration for a couple of my Squidoo lenses, too.
One of the first copies I bought had an article about Jack the Ripper (Feb 2002) and the price then was a reasonable £2.70.
The latest issue of this magazine (Sept 2009) that I purchased has a price tag of £4.25.
Usually, I withhold from buying expensive magazines until it features an article on something I’m really interested in like JFK’s assassination, Jack the Ripper, Big Alien Cats or Phantom Black Dogs.
As I’m now publishing a blog about Cryptozoology and the like, it just may be one of the magazines I will have to buy on a regular basis. Maybe setting up a subscription would be the way to go.
Anyway, if you want a recommendation for a magazine on the subject of the weird and Unexplained, you can’t go wrong with Fortean Times.

I think I’ll save money and just keep visiting here
The Phantom Black Dogs I know about, but I have to admit that I’m a bit fuzzy on Big Alien Cats.

Teehee! It is expensive; have joined its site now so maybe that will work out cheaper! Big Alien Cats are the big cats seen in the UK

Okay, some have called me a Big Cat. If I end up in the UK, will I be an official cryptoid?

Thank you so much, Holley
I hope you continue to enjoy it!
For whatever reason, I have an affinity for the paranormal, quantum physics and sightings of the weird and unexplained. Given time, it excites me to think of what might be… and I think it’s foolish to adamantly adhere to the possibility that nothing is real unless it is accepted and sanctioned by the power brokers. looking forward to more.
