Bigfoot on Nat Geo Tv has aired

Did anyone watch it?

I didn’t realise it was on which I’m a bit miffed about. Although Bigfoot is not a favourite of mine, I know very little about it so would have liked a bit of insight.

Are there actual signs of Bigfoot existing? For example, sightings, signs of kills, footprints etc?

I feel that Bigfoot could actually exist. I mean, it’s not outside the realms of possibility. I’m thinking of the known existence of feral children. Is Bigfoot related at all to humans?

The mating of man and beast doesn’t bear thinking about!

Or, is it/he/she more animal? What would have been needed to create such a creature if it was animal?

Sometimes I’m hugely disappointed in some of these documentaries. Listening to ‘true stories, encounters or sightings’ of the paranormal doesn’t interest me as much as evidence such as videos or things caught on film.

That’s funny, in a way, because I’m the first person to shy away from video marketing and Youtube.com any day.

Weird…

The mystery of ‘Wattie’

Seems there is yet another weird and strange creature in Scotland Lochs. This one is known as ‘Wattie’, named after Loch Watten where it has been sighted.

Wattie is thought to be at least 20 feet wide and also pre-dates Nessie by 10 years. The sighting of Wattie was made by Colonel Arthur Trimble on 21st April 1923.

‘Something dark and looming had suddenly appeared on the surface of the water,’ said the Colonel. He described it as possessing a long neck with a huge flat head.

He did manage to make a photograph and he made a report in London’s Times newspaper. Unfortunately, Colonel Trimble’s dog, Bruce appeared to have become a victim of this monster as it was seen swimming in the lake one minute and then disappearing in a flurry of water in the next.

An attempt to trap the monster by the Colonel failed (using a hook and horsemeat) and he himself became a victim of his own trap, dying with the huge hook impaled in his chest after checking the trap one morning (what exactly happened to him?) Sounds of  something large was heard swimming away from the shore…

It amazes me that very little of this sighting and subsequent events have been made; more attention has been given to Nessie, of which many images made of it could be attributed to something else. E.g. floating wood, the wake left from a passing boat.

Wattie has had numerous witnesses of sounds, sightings and strange disappearances and deaths.

However, apparently, no documentation (magazines, newspapers, records, books, websites) of this monster has been found.

Why do you think this is so?
